Background and approach

Active coding, clear feedback

My background is in Computer Science education, and my teaching is built around active coding. Students learn best when they write, test, and revise their own programs, so I structure lessons around small problems that build toward larger ones.

I value structured decomposition: breaking a problem into steps before writing a line of code. Regular, specific feedback keeps that process visible, so students can see where their reasoning works and where it needs another pass.

The steps matter, not just the final answer.— Abu Bakar

Teaching in KSA

Computing in Saudi classrooms

I have taught computing curricula within modern Saudi academic environments, where students bring varied experience and ambition to their first programming courses. My work focuses on giving them a dependable foundation in Python, web development, and algorithmic thinking.

My instructional priorities align with Saudi Vision 2030’s educational goals: preparing students for digital innovation and building the STEM readiness that a growing technology sector requires. I see this as practical work, one well-taught concept at a time.
